Porsche 356

The Porsche 356 was introduced in 1948. It was the first production car ever made by Porsche. The 356 was a light and nimble handling rear-engined car. The many early motorsport victories and excellent build quality gave the car a strong reputation amongst car enthusiasts. The early cars had a wonderfully simple designed steering wheel consisting of 4 slim spokes and two oval spokes made of stainless steel. Depending on interior colours the steering wheels were produced in ebony, ivory or grey. This steering wheel is the smaller 40cm diameter version with the exquisite large chrome rimmed Porsche crest horn button forming the focal point. Combined with the delicate drawing of Dutch artist Albertus Holsheimer it is one of our favourite limited editions within the steering wheel art collection, The perfect gift for any aircooled Porsche enthusiast.
