Aston Martin DB5

The DB5 was introduced in 1963. The most obvious differences to the DB4 were the fared in headlights. Once the car appeared in the 1964 movie "Goldfinger" the car would always be known as the James Bond car which certainly didn't hurt sales. The characteristic three spoke steering wheel with black spokes and laminated wooden rim looks wonderful with the Aston grille shaped dashboard behind it. The 15 rivets act as finger grips on the back of the steering wheel and the blue horn button with the chrome signature letters of David Brown form the center focal point. We have managed to source the steering wheels from the original British supplier in the original 16 and optional 15 Inch sizes. Supplied complete with hub and hornpush it is stunning together with the exquisite drawing of Albertus Holsheimer in the dovetailed Zebrano display case. Perfect for the discerning Aston Martin collector.
